Gudrun Waiditschka, die Initiatoriin dieser Website, war 14 Jahre lang Chefredakteurin der Zeitschrift "Araber Journal/Arabian Horse Europe" und 3 Jahre lang von "Traumpferde" und "Pferde heute"; sie ist auch die Autorin des Buchs "Lusitanos - Pferde der Könige". Ihr Fotoarchiv reicht über 25 Jahre zurück und ihr Name steht für professionellen Fotojournalismus, breites Expertenwissen und sie schaut gern über den Tellerrand. Sie reist sehr gerne und hat die meisten Staatsgestüte wie beispielsweise Kladrub, Fonte Boa, Alter Real, Yeguada Militar und Piber besucht, sowie entlegene Gebiete wie Syrien, Iran, Russland oder Rumänien. Sie lebt in Deutschland, in der Nähe von Stuttgart.

Betty Finke entdeckte 1972 die arabischen Pferde für sich und hat sie seither fotografiert und studiert. Ihr Fotoarchiv beinhaltet heute über 18.000 Vollblutaraber. Sie mag alle Typen des Arabischen Pferdes aber hat ein spezielles Interesse an Crabbet Park und seinem Einfluß. Seit Anfangs der 1980er Jahre schreibt sie beruflich und war von 1988 bis 2007 Redakteurin von drei Zeitschriften, "Arabische Pferde, "Trakehner Hefte" und "Araber Journal". Sie ist Mitarbeiterin der Zeitschrift "Arabian Horse World" (USA), veröffentlichte Beiträge in britischen und australischen Zeitschriften und war Co-Autorin eines Buches über alte deutsche Blutlinien. Sie lebt in Bochum, Deutschland.
Betty Finke discovered Arabian horses in 1972 and has been photographing and studying them ever since. Her photo archive now includes over 18,000 purebred Arabians. She appreciates all types of Arabian horses, but has a special interest in Crabbet Park and its influence. She became a professional writer in the early 1980s and has been editor of three magazines, "Arabische Pferde", "Trakehner Hefte", and "Araber Journal", from 1988 to 2007. She is a staff writer for "Arabian Horse World" (USA) and has contributed to magazines in Britain and Australia, and co-authored a book on old German bloodlines. She lives in Bochum, Germany.
